Top story of the month:  "The story of my beauty" Hi there, dear readers. Today, I would like to tell you the story of how I managed to find my beauty far-far-away, and how I was able to bring it back home. First things first, let me introduce myself. I'm Hanna Tibbots, 47 years old, currently living in Abuja. This is my story I woke up one day and when I looked in the mirror, I broke out in tears. My forehead was just absolutely full with deep wrinkles and fine lines - that day was a rigid, cold autumn day, but my heart longed for warmth and light. For some reason, I recalled a story I had read way back in the past about a  woman who managed to rejuvenate her face  at the specialized spas of Tunis. Image
AT the event to mark the significance of the widely acclaimed credible, free and fair but annulled election held on June 12, 1993, and honour its presumed winner, the late MKO Abiola, President Muhammadu Buhari said “with leadership and sense of purpose, we can lift 100 million Nigerians out of poverty in 10 years”. He had earlier pointed out that to “…lift the bulk of our people out of poverty and unto the road to prosperity…is by no means unattainable. China has done it, India has done it, Indonesia has done it. Nigeria can do it.” In claiming that “China and Indonesia succeeded under authoritarian regimes”, President Buhari breached the simple rule of diplomatic etiquette by referring to friendly countries in labels stuck at them by their ideological foes. China and Indonesia have never admitted to being authoritarian regimes but are democracies with their unique national conditions. Delivering a report at the 19th national congress of the Communist Party of China in 2017,

Over the years, the impression about entertainers is that most of them never had to struggle with the hard knocks of life or suffer setbacks in their line of work because they were born with a silver spoon; but such is not the case with the likes of Don Jazzy, 2Baba, D’Prince, Daddy Showkey, Baba Fryo, Oritsefemi, E-Money, Kcee, AY, among many others, who actually rose from grass to grace in their chosen line of work. One of such entertainers is versatile actor, standup comedian and movie producer, Ayo Makun, popularly known as AY, who had to relocate from Warri to pursue his dream career on the streets of Lagos. Recounting how he had to come all the way to the centre of excellence, as Lagos is usually described; the humour merchant expressed how happy he feels to be a product of the streets. “It feels good to me to have come from the street to live on my own street. All I had was a dream that set me on a mission from Warri to Lagos to pursue my hustle. May the almighty God chang
